arete Australia is proud to announce the successful completion of the new Simulated Health Ward at RMIT University, a state-of-the-art 52-bed nurse training facility that will play a crucial role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
In close collaboration with RMIT University, Root Partnerships, Vincent Chrisp Architects, and Waterman Group, we delivered a cutting-edge facility that mirrors real hospital conditions. The project includes a fully equipped hospital simulation ward, advanced nursing labs, and technical support areas designed to enhance hands-on clinical training. Additionally, a specialised clinical preparation practice area, a training bathroom, and a simulation debrief space were created to support a wide range of learning scenarios, including community and mental health training.
The project was completed ahead of schedule, ensuring the facility was ready in time for Semester 2, with teaching already underway. Students are now benefitting from an immersive, high-tech environment that is designed to meet the evolving demands of healthcare education.
arete Australia is proud to have contributed to this transformative project, supporting RMIT University in delivering world-class healthcare training facilities that will shape the future of nursing and healthcare.
