Today, our Monash IVF project team swapped their hard hats for aprons as they fired up the BBQ at our head office in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia’s Big Aussie Barbie fundraiser.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Australian men, with approximately 17,000 new cases each year. While survival rates are high, 95% of men diagnosed survive five years or more, the disease still claims over 3,000 lives annually. Today, around 220,000 Australian men are living after a prostate cancer diagnosis.
arete is incredibly proud of our team, subcontractors, and project partners for coming together to raise awareness and much-needed funds for prostate cancer research and support. Thank you to everyone involved in making this event a success!
