One of our project teams, known for building cutting-edge PC2 labs, has discovered another shared passion: baking.
What started as a lighthearted competition has turned into the prestigious (and very tasty) "Bake Well or Get Roasted" challenge, where a new creation is unveiled every Thursday—COVID-safe, of course. The friendly rivalry has seen everything from cakes to cookies, with each team member putting their baking skills to the test.
In a recent upset, Tim Fowler’s "last-minute baked raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake" dethroned the reigning champion, arete’s Joint General Manager Diarmuid O’Mahony. The competition is fierce, but so is the camaraderie. After all, arete means "Excellence of Any Kind" - and it looks like that extends beyond our building expertise!
