arete Australia was, off the back of the successful completion of the Pre-works project, engaged by Austin Health to complete the second stage of the Angiography department upgrade and expansion within the Heidelberg campus.
The project required the redevelopment and expansion of the Angiography Suite, which is an essential service that plays a significant role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease. The existing X-Ray and In-Patient Waiting areas were demolished to make space for the new Angio, X-Ray and sterile store rooms. In addition, the two existing Angiography rooms were refurbished to provide state-of-the-art facilities.
The construction process was carefully managed to comply with strict safety and infection control protocols, including noise, dust, and vibration control measures, and regular cleaning and disinfection of the site.
arete Australia worked closely with Austin Health and a team of consultants, including ClarkeHopkinsClarke, a2m Consulting, John Mullen and Partners, LCI Consultants and Singh Consulting, to develop a detailed project plan that prioritized effective risk management and regular communication and consultation with stakeholders. The project was completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality, with no accidents or incidents reported during the construction process.
The successful completion of this project demonstrates arete Australia's expertise in managing complex healthcare projects while prioritizing safety, quality, and minimal disruption to hospital operations. We are proud to have contributed to the delivery of high-quality patient care through the provision of state-of-the-art facilities.
