arete Australia was engaged by the Box Hill Institute of TAFE to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of Building LA at the Lilydale Lakeside Campus. The three-storey redevelopment introduced crossovers connecting each of the building’s three wings, enhancing accessibility and ease of movement throughout.
The project delivered a range of modern, purpose-built facilities including a café with a commercial kitchen, a childcare centre, hair and beauty teaching areas, versatile general learning spaces, dedicated teacher areas, conference and meeting rooms, and three libraries. These enhancements were designed to create a world-class educational environment that supports diverse learning needs and fosters a vibrant campus community.
Completed on time and within budget, the new facility reflects arete's commitment to quality construction, innovative design, and the successful delivery of projects that elevate the student and staff experience.
