arete Australia was engaged to deliver the $19 million, seven-stage refurbishment of Footscray High School's Kinnear Street Campus under a Lump Sum contract.
The Kinnear Campus project focused on upgrading and modernising the existing facilities. The project was completed over 18 months within an live school environment and the works included:
- Level 1 Learning Base and Library
- Ground Floor Administration, Staff Areas, Canteen, and Main Entrance
- Façade rectification
- Roof rectification
- Gym
- Landscaping, including accessible pathways, carpark resurfacing, and additional ancillary items
- Services and infrastructure upgrades, including fire, electrical, hydraulic, and communication systems to support the new works
The project reached Practical Completion in January 2024.
